Throughout 2017 art practitioners Stella Barnes and Nicky Bashall collected true tales of surprising and inspiring interactions with strangers. I was commissioned to make illustrations in response to these.
In the autumn of that year a selection of the texts were performed in small, intimate settings to audiences invited to share food, tea and the stories. The images were exhibited as part of an installation which accompanied the performances.
