I had to dig deep
At the end of 2020 I worked with Common Threads Collective to create a book documenting the isolation experienced by mothers living apart from their children during the first year of the pandemic. I illustrated the book in acrylics and designed the layout for their words in the hopes of creating a poignant and beautiful record of these often unheard voices.
