Between 2021 and 2022 I was invited by Women’s Centre Huddersfield to illustrate women centred learning sessions made possible by Connecting Opportunities. I was tasked with making sketches throughout the four online sessions that would be shaped into the illustrations you see below.
The project culminated in the Women Migrant’s Dictionary which you can read here. A collection of wisdom, advice and experience from the women we worked with which I was entrusted to lay out as a book and sew through with illustrations.
